RENTON, Wash. -- A couple notes on the Seattle Seahawks' first-round choice Russell Okung, courtesy of ESPN Stats & Information:
Okung becomes the first tackle from Oklahoma State to become a first-round choice since the NFL adopted a common draft in 1967. He's the fourth Oklahoma State offensive lineman since 1986 to become a draft choice in any round.
The Seahawks averaged 3.1 yards per rush running to the left last season, the worst figure in the league. They averaged 4.4 yards per carry running right.
The Seahawks badly needed a tackle after injuries ravaged the position last season.
