Quarterback Kurt Warner and receiver Larry Fitzgerald have enjoyed great success with the deep ball in the Cardinals' first two playoff games.

The Eagles made Warner pay for looking downfield when the teams played on Thanksgiving. The pressure Philadelphia inflicted, backed by strong run defense, made it harder for the Cardinals to set up slower-developing pass plays.

The chart shows how Warner fared based on pass length. The Cardinals did score touchdowns on all three red zone possessions. But three interceptions, all on passes 10 yards or longer, helped the Eagles pull away for a 48-20 victory.

The Cardinals' pass protection against Carolina in the divisional round was mostly excellent. In charting the first half of that game, I confirmed that the Panthers rarely blitzed.
