Coach Mike Singletary said the absence of nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin and linebacker Manny Lawson from mandatory minicamp "doesn't bother me one bit."

Jerry Rice will be the next inductee to the team's Hall of Fame.

The 49ers will be watching to see how well David Carr has learned the offense during minicamp.

Seattle Seahawks

A team spokesman said Wednesday night that there are no plans currently to bring in free-agent safety Oshiomogho Atogwe.

The team claimed cornerback Cord Parks off waivers from the Rams. With the addition of Parks, the Seahawks now have 10 defensive backs on their roster.

St. Louis Rams

Wide receiver Laurent Robinson, limited to three games due to injuries his rookie year, is still not 100 percent, but he expects to be there by training camp.
