Eleven unrestricted free agents from the NFC West have left their 2008 teams and signed elsewhere.

Only the AFC East (14) and AFC North (12) have lost more. The AFC West has lost only three.

The Seahawks have lost four. Only the Titans (six), Jets (six) and Patriots (five) have lost more. The Bears, Broncos and Chiefs have lost zero. The Rams are among nine teams that have lost one.

Losing free agents isn't always an unwelcome thing. The Cardinals didn't blink when J.J. Arrington signed with the Broncos. The Seahawks shrugged when Maurice Morris signed with the Lions. Both were good role players, but their 2008 teams weren't focused on re-signing them.

The Rams continue to lead the league in unrestricted free agents. They have 15. The Lions are next with 11. The Seahawks, Saints and Broncos have 10. The Cardinals have eight and the 49ers have seven. Twenty-two of the 40 remaining unsigned free agents from NFC West teams are in their 30s, including 21 of 33 from the Rams, Cardinals and Seahawks.
