Heard on Sirius NFL radio on my way to Sea-Tac Airport to catch a flight to Chicago: host Brian McGovern picking the Seattle Seahawks to upset the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Week 6.
A Seattle defeat would reveal little about the Seahawks's overall prospects; the team's struggles away from Qwest Field are well established. A victory would say much more while leaving Seattle with a 3-2 record, same as Arizona, when the teams meet at Qwest in Week 7.
The Bears' recent problems in pass protection suggest Seattle could realize better pass-rush production than it managed previously on the road this season (although the Bears could adjust by using shorter drops and quicker throws).
Linebacker Aaron Curry is one Seattle player I'll be watching closely in this game. He had a fumble-forcing sack against Chicago in the fourth quarter of the Bears' victory in Seattle last season, but his overall pass-rush production has not been consistent.
