Almost forgot to pass along end-of-season penalty totals for NFC West teams and players.

The Arizona Cardinals' Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie led the division and ranked tied for the NFL lead in most penalties this season. He had 15, counting declined penalties.

The San Francisco 49ers' totals spiked even though tight end Vernon Davis reduced his total from 12 last season to two this season. Outside linebacker Parys Haralson's totals dropped from eight to one.

Left tackle Joe Staley committed seven after getting flagged for none in 2009. Outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks' total jumped from four to 12. Outside linebacker Manny Lawson went from zero to five. Quarterback Alex Smith's total went from six to 10. Rookie tackle Anthony Davis committed 12.

The first chart shows three-year totals for NFC West teams. All numbers based on calculations using data from ESPN Stats & Information.

The second chart shows NFC West individual leaders for 2010. Twenty players committed at least six while playing for NFC West teams. Again, these totals reflect accepted and declined penalties.
