Additional details on Adrian Wilson surgery

Mike Jurecki of XTRA910 radio in Phoenix has additional information regarding Adrian Wilson's surgery to repair a torn abductor.

According to Jurecki, whose show is ongoing and available through this media player, Wilson told him he underwent the surgery Tuesday and will need three to seven weeks to recover, and that he played the full 2010 season with the injury.

Wilson is a regular guest on Jurecki's show, but has not been on the show to this point Tuesday.

Wilson never mentioned the injury during the season. That is fairly typical in the NFL. While league policy requires teams to disclose injuries when players miss practice time, Wilson continued to practice, so the Cardinals did not have to provide specifics. Wilson started all 16 games. He struggled and it's logical to think the injury played a role.
