Arizona Cardinals kicker and union rep Jay Feely says he senses a "newfound willingness" from team owners to negotiate in good faith after a federal judge ruled against the league in a television revenue case.
Feely calls Friday the "drop-dead day" in getting a new labor agreement. He thinks another extension of the bargaining window would signal an agreement is on the horizon, but a lockout and union decertification would send the league and its players down a road filled with legal wrangling -- one from which there would be no turning back. And he's right.
Cue the video.
