It's only natural, some might even say essential or innate, for ntrinsik to earn a spot on the "You called it" Wall of Fame.

Our first 2011 winner in the weekly NFC West prediction contest overcame long odds, too, by picking a relatively odd score, 28-16, for the St. Louis Rams' defeat to the New York Giants. Way to go. I was also impressed seeing superman_1134 take the Giants by a 27-16 count.

So, so close.

ntrinsik was among a long list of people with the score reversed for the San Francisco 49ers' 27-24 defeat to Dallas. A few correctly predicted a shutout for the Seattle Seahawks, but with the wrong total for the Pittsburgh Steelers. And papthak predicted a 24-22 Arizona Cardinals defeat at Washington (22-21 actual score).

jrvgop4me asked whether I had a preferred format for leaving predictions in the comments section of these items. The best way would be for scores to read, "Giants 28, Rams 16" or "Cowboys 27, 49ers 24" because those styles allow for easier searching.

Now, on to the contest for Week 3. Simply use the comments section below to predict winners and final scores for the following games involving NFC West teams:
  • San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals
  • Baltimore Ravens at St. Louis Rams
  • Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

I'll make my predictions Friday, as usual. Thanks for playing.
