The Cardinals moved into the NFL's top 10 in points per game following their 31-17 victory over the Jaguars in Week 2.
Arizona ranks only 31st in third-down conversion rate, but the stat begs for perspective. Kurt Warner was so efficient in Jacksonville that the Cardinals made it to third down only four times when he was in the game. The team converted 2 of 9 times on third down overall, but five of those third-down plays fell with Matt Leinart in the game and Arizona trying to run time off the clock. The third-down failures included a kneel-down play to end the game on third-and-12.
Seattle ranks second among NFL teams in fewest sacks allowed per pass attempt (not shown on chart). That must make Matt Hasselbeck's injury even more frustrating for them. They have protected him well.
Where NFC West offenses finished in yards gained last season: Arizona 4, San Francisco 23, St. Louis 27, Seattle 28.
