All four NFC West teams rank among the NFL's top 13 in points allowed per game through Week 2.
The Cardinals (sixth) and 49ers (seventh) rank among the top seven in yards allowed per game.
The Seahawks (first) and 49ers (third) rank high in third-down conversion percentage allowed. Seattle is tied for the league lead in red-zone touchdown percentage allowed. The Rams jumped from 27th to 13th in points allowed per game following a 9-7 defeat at Washington.
Seattle fell to last in yards rushing allowed per carry after Frank Gore gashed them for 79- and 80-yard touchdown runs.
Current rankings in sacks per opponent's pass attempt, by defense: Seattle third, Arizona fifth, San Francisco 20th, St. Louis 31st.
Where NFC West defenses finished in yards allowed last season: San Francisco 13th, Arizona 19th, St. Louis 28th and Seattle 30th.
