The Seahawks could be in trouble after falling to 1-2 heading into a Week 4 road game against the Colts.
They were unable to stop the Bears' Jay Cutler in Seattle while playing without two of their top three cornerbacks. The Seahawks probably won't fare any better against Peyton Manning in Indianapolis, particularly if Matt Hasselbeck misses another game. Seattle's next seven games feature dates with Manning, Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, Warner (again) and Brett Favre.
Seneca Wallace and a depleted supporting cast are not good enough to beat good teams, or even decent ones.
This season could slip away quickly. Even if the Seahawks regain their health by midseason, their schedule following a Week 7 bye could prove brutal with four of the first five post-bye games away from Qwest Field.
The game against Chicago was one the Seahawks needed to win at home, regardless of their injury situation.
