Some reputation restoration for Leroy Hill

One sentence stood out from all the others in Eric D. Williams' report on Atlanta prosecutors dropping marijuana charges against Seattle Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill:

"Both Hill and his girlfriend submitted to a urine test immediately following their arrest, and both tests came back negative."

Hill's arrest threatened to suppress the money he might command from the Seahawks or another team in free agency. It will have done him no favors even though chargers were dropped. Still, this resolution was a best-case scenario for Hill, endeared himself to the team with his approach last season.

A team can now sign Hill without worrying about discipline from the NFL stemming from this incident.
