Arizona: A knee injury is bothering right tackle Levi Brown. The Cardinals' depth at tackle is a potential concern. Brown will line up against Jason Taylor when the Cardinals visit the Redskins in Week 3. Taylor also has knee issues. Crowd noise at FedEx Field already puts Brown at a disadvantage in this matchup. Update: Gabe Watson could be back this week, restoring needed depth at nose tackle, but pass rusher Travis LaBoy remains a question mark.
St. Louis: Backup right tackle Adam Goldberg is filling in for Jacob Bell at left guard. He had a hard time with the Giants' Justin Tuck, as just about anyone would. Seattle's defensive tackles are quick off the ball, especially at home. Rams defensive end Leonard Little could return from a hamstring injury. He tends to give Seattle problems when the Seahawks are without right tackle Sean Locklear, as they could be this week. Update: Cornerback Ron Bartell missed practice, and Bell could return this week.
San Francisco: Third cornerback Shawntae Spencer has a knee injury and will not play against the Lions. He probably will not need season-ending surgery. The 49ers have good depth at cornerback. Donald Strickland could play more. On offense, the 49ers shouldn't miss right tackle Jonas Jennings much because backup Barry Sims has experience.
Seattle: The Seahawks are without their top six receivers, a major problem for quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and the offense. An injury to Hasselbeck would force Charlie Frye into the game because Seneca Wallace is out. Running back Julius Jones' presence offsets Maurice Morris' continuing absence. Floyd Womack is playing well at right guard in place of Rob Sims. Right tackle Ray Willis, subbing for Locklear, could face a tough test if Little plays.
