Brian Banks' decision to attend the Seattle Seahawks' minicamp Wednesday and Thursday livens up an already eventful week for NFC West teams.
All four teams in the division hold mandatory camps Tuesday through Thursday.
Living on the West Coast makes visiting St. Louis Rams camp tougher with all four teams holding camps simultaneously. The choice came down to attending three camps or seeing the Rams and perhaps one other team. I'll make an extended visit to St. Louis when the Rams open training camp.
Banks, whose story of exoneration continues to resonate, has already participated in standard tryouts with the Seahawks, San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. No one has offered him a contract. The Seahawks offered Banks a chance to attend their three-day minicamp on a tryout basis. Banks is expected to attend the final two days.
