The NFL has fined Rams cornerback Quincy Butler ($7,500) and 49ers linebacker Parys Haralson ($5,000) for separate incidents in Week 5.
Butler's fine was for unnecessary roughness during a horse collar tackle against the Vikings. Butler drew a 15-yard penalty after dragging down Vikings return specialist Percy Harvin following a 27-yard kickoff return in the second quarter.
Haralson's fine was for unnecessary roughness while grabbing the opponent by facemask. Haralson grabbed the Falcons' Keith Zinger and swing him around after the two tangled during an extra point following the Falcons' first touchdown. Officials assessed a 15-yard penalty.
