The injuries Anquan Boldin suffered during that violent collision with Jets safety Eric Smith produced a cut lip and fractured sinus membrane for the Arizona receiver. That was the word from Boldin's father, as reported by the Palm Beach Post (via Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic).

Boldin's father makes the injuries sound minor. The team has not made available specifics on the injury or Boldin's status. That will presumably happen when the injury report comes out Wednesday. Until then, it's difficult to make sense of the report.
