NFC West last perfect division at home

September, 25, 2012
Green Bay Packers fans should be warned.

They probably won't want to cue up this ESPN interview with Golden Tate following the Seattle receiver's controversial winning touchdown against the Packers.

Tate remains unapologetic. He refuses to acknowledge the obvious push-off he committed before making the disputed catch.

One comment from Tate stood out as undeniable: The Seahawks have to like their chances at home. The atmosphere at CenturyLink Field played a role in the team collecting eight first-half sacks.

Punishing defense gets the home fans fired up. I think we're seeing that across the NFC West. Arizona, San Francisco and Seattle are all playing defense at a high level. St. Louis has been markedly better in that area as well.

That could help explain the chart, which shows the NFC West as the only division with a perfect record for home games.
