Jets were bad, but 49ers get credit, too

The hand-wringing over the New York Jets' offensive struggles is legitimate.

The Jets were inept Sunday.

Sometimes the other team deserves credit. This is one of those times. The San Francisco 49ers are what happened to the Jets in Week 4, continuing a theme around here (the Arizona Cardinals happened to Tom Brady and Michael Vick, while the Seattle Seahawks happened to Tony Romo and Aaron Rodgers).

In honor of the 49ers' defensive effort Sunday, I've put together a chart from ESPN Stats & Information showing to what degree they limited Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez relative to the other quarterbacks they've faced this season.

It's not pretty.
