The 49ers' ongoing shift toward younger players on offense could leave them with one of the NFL's youngest starting lineups.
That jumped out right away when I updated the 26-column rosters -- available for download here -- during the week.
Quarterback Alex Smith and receiver Michael Crabtree are already starting. Josh Morgan played more than veteran Isaac Bruce in Week 7. The 49ers might leave Bruce in the lineup for now -- they clearly respect what he represents -- but the youth movement moves forward regardless.
Other roster notes: I've moved David Vobora onto the Rams' active roster and restored his starting status. ... The Seahawks moved Marcus Trufant onto their active roster. They already had an opening.
