49ers arrive: SB 'not a pressure situation'

Leave it to second-year San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to provide wisdom and perspective following his team's arrival in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII.

"Pressure comes from a lack of preparation," Kaepernick told reporters during his first Super Bowl news conference. "This is not a pressure situation. It's a matter of going out and performing."

The thinking is sound. Players might feel a little differently in final hours before kickoff, or as the game is beginning. There's nothing regular or ordinary about Super Bowls.

We'll be watching all week for signs as to how the 49ers and AFC champion Baltimore Ravens are handling the big stage.
