Arizona: Kurt Warner practiced Wednesday, an indication he should be able to play against the Titans after suffering a head injury against the Rams. Outside linebacker Will Davis is out four to six weeks after undergoing knee surgery. That hurts the Cardinals at a position where their depth is vulnerable (Cody Brown is already on injured reserve). Arizona needs Chike Okeafor to work through back troubles that have kept him out recently. Bertrand Berry has generally stayed healthy since last season, but he's an older player, as is Okeafor, and long-term durability is a potential concern if Berry plays too much.
San Francisco: Guard David Baas could return from the ankle injury that knocked him from the game against Green Bay. The 49ers are low on depth along their offensive line, so having Baas available helps even though he has not played at a high level. San Francisco should be OK against the Jaguars without left tackle Joe Staley. Jacksonville has 10 sacks in 10 games this season.
St. Louis: The Rams are the most injury-affected team in the division. Back spasms prevented Steven Jackson from practicing Wednesday. Perhaps he is starting to wear down after carrying the offense for 10 games. Injuries on the Rams' defensive line could help Seattle revive its ground game. At quarterback, the drop-off from Marc Bulger to Kyle Boller should not be extreme. Neither can lift up the offense by himself. But changing quarterbacks figures to throw off whatever rapport Bulger was building with Donnie Avery and Brandon Gibson in particular. Update: A concussion continues to sideline right tackle Jason Smith. An injured neck ligament is bothering fullback Mike Karney. Those injuries could affect the running game.
Seattle: Safety Deon Grant is wearing a cast on his injured hand. That will not help him bring down the Rams' Jackson. The Seahawks will be better in the secondary with cornerback Josh Wilson returning from a concussion. He's a threat to jump a pass route against Boller. Running back Julius Jones could return after missing the Minnesota game. The Seahawks are largely a passing team, though, and Justin Forsett fits nicely in the three-receiver offense. Jones' presence would not make a huge difference, in other words, although depth at the position will help.
