When NFC West rivals get along fine

By Mike Sando

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wore a Miami Dolphins hat while in Florida. Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett and Seattle Seahawks counterpart Bruce Irvin weren't going to wear opponents' gear while at Miami Beach recently, but the two on-field rivals shared some good times riding personal watercraft.

"I know you all looking like, 'Why am I hanging with a Seahawk?' " Dockett said, "but it's all love. It's war on the field, but it's all love right now. We're just having a good time."

The Cardinals' website has the video.

Rivalries are great and bitter ones can be the most fun, but there's obviously room for competing players to maintain friendships away from work. Earlier this offseason, Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald hung out at the charity softball game put on by Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.
