Inside Kaepernick's big QBR game

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had a Total QBR of 99.0 on Sunday’s victory at Tennessee. The QBR scale goes to 100. Kaepernick’s number was the highest of any quarterback in the NFL this season.
Thanks to Mark Simon of ESPN Stats & Information, here are some details of Kaepernick’s near-perfect day:
The 49ers jumped out to a 24-0 lead with 7:20 left in the third quarter. At that point their win probability was at 98.7 percent, and never dropped below 94.9 percent.
Up to that point, Kaepernick has completed 11 of 13 passes for 163 yards, including 5 of 5 for 87 yards on third down, with four conversions.
Kaepernick converted three of four third-down runs, including a 20-yard touchdown run on a third-and-7 and a 20-yard scramble on third-and-11, both in the second quarter.
At the end of the third quarter, Kaepernick had a 99.7 QBR on 27 action plays as the 49ers led 24-0 and had a win probability of 98.9 percent. His fourth-quarter QBR was 0.3 on six action plays, and only brought his QBR down 0.7 with the game in hand.
