The Cardinals lost depth in their defensive front seven when they placed linebacker Clark Haggans on injured reserve Friday.
Haggans had hoped to return from a Lisfranc foot injury in time for the playoffs. That sounded unrealistic, and apparently it was.
Arizona still has only three players on injured reserve, but with Haggans out and defensive end Travis LaBoy fighting through ankle and elbow injuries, the front seven has taken a hit.
The Cardinals signed offensive lineman Elliot Vallejo from their practice squad to fill the spot vacated by Haggans.
