Gore over Jackson? Breaston over 'Housh'?

The 49ers' Frank Gore leads the NFC West and ranks sixth among NFL players in ESPN.com's latest 2010 fantasy football rankings for 2010.

Rams running back Steven Jackson falls to seventh among running backs, while Cardinals receiver Steve Breaston ranks ahead of Seahawks receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh.

ESPN.com's Christopher Harris offers this NFC West note in his explanations:
"Steven Jackson takes a relative tumble, going from No. 5 to No. 9, because the St. Louis Rams revealed that Jackson had neck surgery this winter. His team can spin it as positively as it likes, but it's very difficult to argue that Jackson isn't riskier than he was a month ago. He's one of my favorite players in the NFL and if he stays healthy, I won't be shocked to see him jump into the top five among all fantasy scorers in 2010. But his downside is more pronounced now."

Gore also comes with some injury concerns and there were times last season when he disappeared from the offense. The 49ers will presumably recommit to Gore this offseason, but he appears potentially overvalued on this list based on injury concerns, in my view.

At quarterback, the rankings show Miami's Chad Henne before the Cardinals' Matt Leinart and the 49ers' Alex Smith. Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck, an injury risk over the past two seasons, does not appear in the top 200 overall values. That could change once it becomes more widely known Hasselbeck will start. Leinart ranks slightly ahead of Smith.
