Cardinals lose starting tackle for season
By Mike Sando
NFC West offensive lines suffered significant casualties in Week 10.
The San Francisco 49ers lost left tackle Joe Staley to a broken leg. The St. Louis Rams are not sure whether an ankle injury will sideline starting left tackle Rodger Saffold in Week 11. The Seattle Seahawks are hoping starting left tackle Russell Okung will return from an ankle injury this week, but they aren't yet sure he will.
The latest: Arizona has placed starting right tackle Brandon Keith on injured reserve with a knee injury.
The Cardinals have veteran depth on their line. They have the oldest offensive linemen in the league, in fact. Jeremy Bridges has played well when called upon. Keith had been improving, however.
Breaking in a new tackle at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 11 counts as a less-than-ideal situation.
