Carroll: Trufant, Carlson held as precaution
By Mike Sando
CHICAGO -- The Seattle Seahawks expect Marcus Trufant and John Carlson to remain hospitalized in Chicago overnight after suffering concussions Sunday, coach Pete Carroll said following his team's 35-24 defeat at Soldier Field.
Both players were expected to be OK, Carroll said.
Medical personnel immobilized both players on the field and carted them away.
Fullback Michael Robinson (ribs), tight end Cameron Morrah (turf toe) and running back Justin Forsett (ankle) also suffered injuries. Morrah returned to the game, but quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said the offensive game plan shrunk dramatically.
