Behold! NFC West leading NFL powers
By Mike Sando
We interrupt your regularly scheduled NFC West programming to bring you two truly monumental developments within the division:
- The 0-6 St. Louis Rams lead the 5-2 New Orleans Saints, 3-0 with about four minutes left in the second quarter. The Rams just ran an offensive play while leading for the first time this season. The Saints, coming off a 62-7 victory against Indianapolis last week, scored more points in Week 7 than the Rams have scored this season. But the Rams are leading, and that is something for their fans to celebrate.
- The 1-5 Arizona Cardinals lead the 4-2 Baltimore Ravens, 24-3, with about four minutes left in the second quarter. Beanie Wells has a rushing touchdown, his seventh of the season. Patrick Peterson has a punt return for a touchdown, his second of the season. Early Doucet has a touchdown reception.
I'm going to publish this thing before something changes.
