You called it: Fearless predictions (Week 3)
By Mike Sando
The St. Louis Rams' 31-28 victory over the Washington Redskins wasn't such a surprise.
We had three people predict the outcome and final score correctly during our weekly contest projecting NFC West winners and final scores.
BamaCards1, goduxgo and azfield all saw this one coming.
Another, jumpman24kb, predicted the San Francisco 49ers' 27-19 victory over the Detroit Lions.
The chart at right shows repeat winners in the contest, which dates to the 2008 season.
Special mention goes to roadto_1 for predicting a 20-19 victory for the Arizona Cardinals at New England. Arizona won the game, 20-18. Missing by one point won't be good enough to earn a spot on the Wall of Fame below, but still, that was quite a prediction.
To enter for Week 3, simply use the comments section for this item to leave predicted winners and scores for the following Week 3 games involving NFC West teams:
Once games begin, I go into the comments section and copy all predictions into a separate file. I then shut down the comments section for that item.
The chart below shows winners from the current season. I'll post my best guesses Friday. We're also competing in a "Pigskin Picks" contest this year.
