Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic sizes up the Bills as they get ready to face the Cardinals at University of Phoenix stadium. Buffalo is 4-0 for the first time since 1992.

Also from Somers: Anquan Boldin undergoes surgery. Adrian Wilson and Bert Berry probably will not play against the Bills. Tight ends Leonard Pope and Jerame Tuman are also questionable.

Darren Uban of azcardinals.com says Steve Breaston gets the call at receiver while Boldin recovers from surgery.

John Crumpacker of the San Francisco Chronicle breaks out the acronyms to describe Tully Banta-Cain's string of inactivity this season. Banta-Cain has been humbled.

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee also spoke with former New England Patriots linebacker Banta-Cain ... as did Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat ... and Chrissy Mauck of 49ers.com ... and finally Mark Emmons of the San Jose Mercury News writes about TBC, who now qualifies as one of the NFL's more widely covered backups.

Jose Romero of the Seattle Times says the Seahawks turn to T.J. Duckett when they need to convert in short-yardage situations. Also, Julius Jones, Deon Grant and Lance Laury received game balls for their performances against the Rams.

Scott Johnson of the Everett Herald says Duckett is one of eight players in the NFL to convert every time on at least three third-and-1 runs this season.

Clare Farnsworth of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer checks in with Jones for advice on how to beat the Giants. "Hit 'em in the mouth," Jones says.

Frank Hughes of the Tacoma News Tribune says the Seahawks aren't as sure what to expect from a Giants team playing without Plaxico Burress.
