The Rams decided against making a qualifying offer to Mark Setterstrom, making the backup offensive lineman an unrestricted free agent when the signing period opens.

Setterstrom was eligible to become a restricted free agent, but the Rams weren't willing to make him the required $1.01 million minimum offer for the right to match other teams' offers. Seahawks linebacker Lance Laury fell into the same category.

Both players could eventually re-sign with their teams for less than the $1.01 million. Their minimum salaries would be $535,000 in 2009. The chart breaks down minimum salaries by experience and season, as provided by the NFL Players Association.
