Two notes from the first of two double-digit victories for NFC West teams over East Coast opponents (just wanted to know what it felt like to type that):
  • Brandon Browner's 94-yard interception return to clinch the Seattle Seahawks' 36-25 victory over the New York Giants was the longest in franchise history. Sammy Green set the previous record, 79 yards, against the San Francisco 49ers in 1979.
  • Doug Baldwin's eight-catch, 136-yard performance featuring the winning touchdown reception put the rookie in rare company. According to Elias Sports Bureau, Baldwin is one of two undrafted rookie free agents to finish a game with that many receiving yards. He joins Hank Baskett, who had a 177-yard game for Philadelphia in 2006.

Just passing along. Better get working now on those Silver Linings files. Wait, that should be file, singular. Good week for the NFC West.
