The NFL's new draft format for the Pro Bowl showed how much Baltimore Ravens guard Marshal Yanda is valued.

Yanda was the second guard selected Thursday night, going to Deion Sanders' team. New Orleans' Jahri Evans was the first guard taken, but that was also influenced by Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who is a co-captain for Jerry Rice's team.

After Yanda was taken by Team Sanders, former Ravens guard Ben Grubbs was drafted by Team Rice.

It's interesting to note that Yanda just missed out on being an actual teammate of Sanders'. Yanda was drafted by the Ravens in 2007, two years after Sanders retired with the Ravens.

The Ravens' other two Pro Bowl players -- kicker Justin Tucker and linebacker Terrell Suggs -- will find out whether they're on Team Sanders or Team Rice on Thursday, when the draft concludes.
