The Cleveland Browns agreed with the rest of the NFL when asked what coach -- other than their own -- they’d like to play for.
Pete Carroll of Seattle won the vote for the league and for the Browns.
Carroll is know for his intense teams that fly around and play hard, but he’s also known as being a fun-loving guy who has a relaxed, mirthful way to practice. It’s a unique combination, and three of 10 Browns voters supported him.
What’s interesting is the guy who came in second is from the Browns rival: Mike Tomlin of Pittsburgh received two votes. Tomlin has beaten the Browns badly several times, but that didn’t stop him from earning respect in the team’s locker room.
The other votes were spread around the league.
