NFLN survey/Super Bowl QB: 49ers

In our NFL Nation player’s poll, we asked 10 players from each team to give us their choice for the quarterback they’d want on their side with two minutes left in the Super Bowl.

New England legend Tom Brady received the most votes. Brady received some votes from the 49ers, as did a few other quarterbacks.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick could eventually become a player who would receive votes. He has shown this season he can deliver in the clutch, but he’s not a consistent threat -- yet. He showed that inconsistency when he was intercepted in the end zone in the final seconds of the NFC Championship Game in Seattle.

But Kaepernick is a talented player who has the ability to win close games for several years to come.
