Halftime notes from K.C.

9/14/2010

KANSAS CITY -- Random halftime thoughts from Kansas City, where the Chiefs are shocking the four-time defending AFC West champioin Chargers, 21-7.

  • If it doesn’t stop raining, the Chargers are going to be in trouble. San Diego has been able to do nothing offensively in the rain storm. The Chargers did not get a first down in the second quarter. San Diego can’t run or pass in this weather. Yet, the Chiefs have made big plays on offense, defense and special teams in the poor weather.

  • The Chief’s young defense is playing very well. Third-year defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey is having an outstanding game. He is very active.
