This week’s Power Rankings came out just a little bit ago and the New Orleans Saints no longer are No. 1.

But their fall after a 27-24 overtime loss to Atlanta was a short one. The Saints are No. 2 with Pittsburgh taking over the No. 1 spot. Mike Sando still gave the Saints a No. 1 vote and Paul Kuharsky and James Walker each voted the Saints No. 2.

But John “The Anchor" Clayton dropped the Saints all the way to No. 5. He even voted the Falcons one spot higher than New Orleans. Sando voted the Falcons at No. 3. But Kuharsky and Walker each had Atlanta at No. 7.

All that added up to put Atlanta at No. 5. So we’ve got two NFC South teams in the top five. But there’s a big drop after that. Despite losing for the first time (to Pittsburgh), the Buccaneers cracked the top 20, coming in at No. 20.

The Carolina Panthers are at No. 29.
