Wrap-up: Raiders 33, Seahawks 3

Wrapping up the Oakland Raiders' 33-3 win against the Seattle Seahawks.

What it means: The Raiders are capable of winning two straight games. Oakland won back-to-back games for the first time in 24 games. Oakland is also now 4-4 and has to be considered a threat in the AFC West. This was a big win for the Raiders, who have outscored their past two opponents by a total of 92-17.

Injury of note: Oakland star cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha had to leave the game with an ankle injury. It might be serious. It would be big blow if Asomugha had to miss significant time.

Tomorrow’s talker: Oakland receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey stepped up or the second time this season. With Louis Murphy out, Heyward-Bey had five catches for 105 yards, including a 69-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jason Campbell, who had a terrific game himself. Campbell threw for 310 yards. Still, he will likely give way to Bruce Gradkowski when Gradkowski returns from a shoulder injury that has kept him out of the past three-plus games.

What’s next: The Raiders have a crucial home game Sunday against division-leading Kansas City, which is 5-2. This is Oakland’s chance to make a move.
