Cards QB Anderson storms from interview

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Quarterbacks lacking poise generally do not last long in the NFL.

AndersonAndersonThe Arizona Cardinals' Derek Anderson did not last long during his postgame interview session Monday night.

Anderson, ticked off when asked about camera shots showing him laughing on the sideline during a 27-6 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers, stormed from the interview room, according to reporters who witnessed the blowup. I was bouncing between locker rooms at the time and was not in the room when Anderson stormed out.

One reporter said Anderson retreated into the locker room, where he kicked something and then took off.

Anderson has gotten chippy with reporters several times this season, often over questions about his accuracy problems. In this case, ESPN's cameras showed Anderson and offensive lineman Deuce Lutui appearing to share a laugh during the lopsided defeat.
