If you haven’t seen this video clip, you should. It’s of Carolina defensive end Tyler Brayton, who was not supposed to be involved in the play, but came off the bench to hit Atlanta’s Christopher Owens who was running along the Carolina sideline as part of the punt coverage unit.
We now have an update on this. As previously reported on our news side, Brayton was fined $15,000 by the NFL on Friday, according to a league source. No suspension or further disciplinary action is expected, the source said.
Brayton is participating in Carolina’s game with Arizona today.
