BEREA, Ohio -- After making a huge trade with the Atlanta Falcons, the Cleveland Browns moved back up Thursday to select Baylor defensive lineman Phil Taylor with the No. 21 overall pick. The Browns desperately needed defensive linemen in their new 4-3 defense and Taylor fills that need.
TaylorCleveland gave up its third-round pick and swapped its first-round pick (No. 27) with the Kansas City Chiefs to get Taylor. He could be a starter from Day 1 next to Ahtyba Rubin. The Browns cut defensive tackle Shaun Rogers earlier this offseason.
We will have more reaction from Browns headquarters coming up.
