The accolades continue to roll in for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The Pro Bowler and MVP candidate was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for December and the first week of January, the Patriots announced.
New England finished 5-0 down the stretch and Brady was a huge reason. He has thrown for 1,608 yards and 11 touchdowns in his past five games. Brady also led New England to come-from-behind wins against the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills the past two weeks.
Brady and the Patriots (13-3) have a bye this weekend and await an opponent to face in Gillette Stadium on Jan. 14.
