The Denver Broncos are visiting with Miami defensive tackle Paul Soliai, according to NFL.com.

He is one of the better defensive tackles available on the free-agent market, and scouts view him as an impact player. Soliai is massive at 6-4, 355 pounds. He has been a 3-4 defender during his playing career, so it seems natural that the Kansas City Chiefs have interest in him as well. The Chiefs run a 3-4, as did the Dolphins.

Defensive tackle has been one of Denver’s biggest needs for several years and Soliai would help in run support. If the Broncos sign him, it could take Denver out of the mix for a defensive tackle at No. 25.

Denver has been concentrating on waiting on Peyton Manning in the early stages of free agency and Soliai would be costly. The Broncos entered free agency with $38 million in salary cap room.
