Schefter: Browns, Weeden 'close' to deal

Hours after signing running back Trent Richardson, the Cleveland Browns are nearing a deal with their last unsigned draft pick.
WeedenThe Browns and quarterback Brandon Weeden are "close" to a deal after talking into the night and hope to reach an agreement by today, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Weeden is the last of the AFC North first-round picks to remain unsigned. While Browns rookies report today, the team would like to have Weeden in training camp by Friday, when the team has its first full-team practice.
The total money of Weeden's deal will be about $8.1 million over four years. The holdup has been Weeden's desire for the entire $8.1 million to be guaranteed. The picks around Weeden, who was selected 22nd, only received the first three years fully guaranteed.
