The Titans' Week 2 trip to San Diego just got a bit easier. They’ll have wide receiver Kenny Britt available.

But I can’t imagine they were expecting to have the explosive receiver for the Patriots. He was just moved off the PUP list, and is to start some level of practice on Saturday when the team starts preparations for New England.
Rookie Kendall Wright has consistently worked as the starter opposite Nate Washington during camp while Britt rehabs his knees. With Britt absent, Wright, a first-rounder, will likely start against New England, with Damian Williams working as the third receiver.
A week later against the Chargers, Britt figures to see work as at least the third guy.
Tennessee has consistently struggled against the Chargers in recent years. They’ve lost six in a row including a playoff game, and have not beat the Chargers since 1992, well before their relocation to Tennessee. The Titans franchise has not won in San Diego since 1990.
We don’t know if Britt can help stop the streak, but the Titans are certainly better with him than without him.
