For one week at least, Atlanta’s Matt Ryan was the best quarterback in the NFC South and the entire NFL.
No other NFC South quarterback was even close, but Tampa Bay’s Josh Freeman was above average. Freeman was efficient and didn’t make any major mistakes as Tampa Bay defeated Carolina 16-10. Freeman was No. 11 in the league as he finished with a 62.9 Total QBR.
The other two division quarterbacks were well below average, which is a Total QBR below 50.
