The Miami Dolphins have been on the cusp of winning for three weeks. But on Sunday they finally earned a big road win over the Cincinnati Bengals. It ended Miami's two-game losing streak, which included back-to-back overtime losses.
A win finally gave the Dolphins some respect in ESPN.com's Power Rankings. Miami had the second-biggest jump this week by moving up seven places to No. 19. This is Miami’s highest ranking this season.
Here is how the rest of the AFC East fared:
No. 5: New England Patriots (3-2)
No. 19: Dolphins (2-3)
No. 25: New York Jets (2-3)
No. 27: Buffalo Bills (2-3)
The Bills had the biggest drop this week. Buffalo fell six spots after an ugly, 45-3, blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The panel doesn't have a lot of confidence that the Bills will bounce back from this.
