The Buffalo Bills can finally put an end to "wrist gate."
NFL.com reported Friday that Buffalo has been fined $20,000 for not reporting defensive end Mario Williams’ wrist injury. Williams told reporters earlier this month that he has been dealing with a wrist ailment. Buffalo had not put Williams on the injury report until last week after the league reportedly warned the team.
Buffalo wasn’t the only team fined. The Washington Redskins also were fined $20,000 for failing to report quarterback Robert Griffin III’s concussion during a game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Redskins claimed RG3 was "shaken up."
