Steelers' Pouncey is four starters inactive

CINCINNATI -- Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey is among four Steelers starters who are inactive tonight against the Bengals. Pouncey, who was questionable with a knee injury, will be replaced by Doug Legursky.

Safety Troy Polamalu (calf), running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) and right tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) are also inactive.

Jonathan Dwyer, the third-string running back, is expected to make his first NFL start. Mike Adams will fill in for Gilbert at right tackle, and Will Allen will make his second straight start for Polamalu.

Here are the inactives for Sunday night:

STEELERS: S Troy Polamalu, C Maurkice Pouncey, RB Rashard Mendenhall, OT Marcus Gilbert, RB Isaac Redman, LB Chris Carter and QB Charlie Batch.

BENGALS: CB Dre Kirkpatrick, CB Jason Allen, RB Brian Leonard, LB Dontay Moch, DT Brandon Thompson, WR Armon Binns and TE Richard Quinn.
